by the non-profit New York Theatre Experience. It is a comprehensive listing
of current and upcoming productions on Broadway, as well as in Off- and
Off-Off-Broadway theaters. (The designations “Off-Broadway” and “Off-Off-Broadway” have to do with
the size of the venue and the number of union actors employed—not necessarily
the location. A number of excellent Off-Broadway theaters are nestled in
among the big Broadway houses near NYTheatre.com has
links to over a dozen different online ticketing agencies, but also see are
advice (at right) about ways to purchase tickets in advance or once you are
in the city. Other

lists almost all shows currently playing in Half-price,
day-of-show tickets are available from the Theater Development Fund
